Leadership Team

Below are some of our great adult leaders for our two troops.  The Troop Committee serves both the Boy's and Girl's Troops.

Boy's Troop 

James Kramer - Scoutmaster

James Kramer, a Cal Poly SLO graduate and structural engineer, serves as Scoutmaster for the Boy's Troop.  He has two daughters and one son, all three of whom are active in Troop 787.  James is also an Eagle Scout from Troop 11, Redlands, CA (1994). In his free time, enjoys backpacking and mountain biking with his family.

Girl's Troop

Elizabeth Kramer - Scoutmaster

Elizabeth Kramer, a Cal Poly SLO graduate and structural engineer, has become the first Scoutmaster of our Girl's Troop.  She has two daughters and one son, all three of whom are active in Troop 787.  Elizabeth was also a BSA Sea Scout and earned her Girl Scout Gold Award with ship Mystic Yankee (1994).  In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with her daughters in their local community.

Bob Baker - Assistant Scoutmaster

Bob Baker, a Saddleback graduate and software engineer, serves as an Assistant Scoutmaster to both the Boy's and Girl's Troops. He is an Eagle Scout from Troop 787 (2014) and previously worked for the OC Boy Scouts of America. In his free time, he enjoys off-roading with his friends.

Troop Committee 

John Waldeck - Committee Chair

John Waldeck, a UCI graduate and veteran of the real estate finance sector, serves as the Committee Chair for both Troops. His two sons are both involved in the Troop as well.

John Schaaf - Webmaster

John Schaff, CEO of Praxus Software, serves as the Webmaster for both Troops. His four sons are all heavily involved with the Troop and they all help champion the Scouts with disabilities movement. In his free time, John enjoys exploring technology and programming with his sons.
