Tyler Pope has been involved with Troop 787 since his oldest son joined in 2019. He became Scoutmaster after his second son joined in 2022. With a third son still in Cub Scouts, he may be here for a while! A graduate of MIT, Tyler works for a prominent sports agent representing baseball players.

Julie Henderson, Scoutmaster for our girls’ troop, holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California Lutheran University. She brings extensive leadership experience to the role, having spent the last 21 years in various sales positions with Starwood Hotels (now Marriott International). As a dedicated scouting parent, she has both a son and a daughter active in the troop.
Matt Coulson serves at the Committee Chair for both troops. He is an Eagle Scout from Troop 801 (Brea, 1991). His two sons are actively involved in the troop. In his free time, Dr. Coulson serves as a pediatrician. He completed his residency training at Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
